Federal Courses, EEO Seminars and EXCEL Conference
The EEOC Training Institute has updated our registration policies and practices to provide our registrants with easy access to the courses offered and to facilitate our new pre-payment policy. To ensure your place in a course or seminar, you should register for the event as early as possible. Late registrations will be accepted on a space-available basis.
The following information is required to complete the online registration: Participant's contact information, including name, current phone number, job title, current e-mail address, and payment information.
PRE-PAYMENT IS REQUIRED.

The EEOC Training Institute's online registration is easy to manage and it provides the registrant with an immediate confirmation. Register at www.eeotraining.eeoc.gov. Credit card and electronic bank check registrations will receive immediate e-mail confirmation. Confirmations are sent to the cardholders only. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact 866.446.0940 or 703.291.0880. Bring your e-mail confirmation to the seminar/course.
Mail the completed registration form and payment to the EEOC TRAINING INSTITUTE, 6841 Elm Street, #1092, McLean, VA 22101. Confirmations are e-mailed after processing of both registration and payment (5 business days). If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact 866.446.0940 or 703.291.0880. Bring your e-mail confirmation to the seminar/course.
Payment must be received at time of registration.
Online Registration with a credit card
Acceptable credit cards: Government purchase card, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. All credit card charges will be listed as EEOC Training Institute on your statements. Registrants from a State and Local Government. To request an invoice (to secure payment via check or credit card) please e-mail your request to the EEOC Training Institute. Confirmation of the event is only issued after payment is received by the EEOC Training Institute.

Mailed Registrations from a Federal Agency using IPAC (Intra-governmental payment and collection)
Federal agencies must complete the EEOC's Inter Agency Agreement Form (IAA Form) at the time of registration. Click here to download the IAA Form. NOTE: Federal departments and agencies have the authority to authorize advance payment of training-related expenses. Additional information and guidance is found in the U.S. Office of Personnel Management Training Policy Handbook and at 31 U.S.C. 3324 (1997), 5 U.S.C. 4109(a)(2) (1997), and 41.
Substitutions, Cancellations, and Refund Policy:
Substitutions may be made prior to the beginning of the seminar or course. Please contact the EEOC Training Institute to make the substitution and to provide contact information for the substitute. The substitute participant should bring amended paperwork (SF182) confirming registration and payment.
Cancellations - Federal Courses and EEO Seminars:
By the Registrant
All seminar or course cancellation requests must be received more than 10 business days prior to the event start date to be eligible for a refund less a $35 processing fee. Substitutions may be made prior to the beginning of the seminar. No shows are not eligible for a refund.
By the EEOC Training Institute
If an event is cancelled due to low enrollment or for some other administrative reason, you will receive an e-mail notification and a full refund.
Cancellations - CSTs (Private Sector and Federal Sector):
A CST Agreement can be amended by mutual consent of both parties to the Agreement which may also include rescheduling of the training. A cancellation request must be received more than 15 business days prior to the event start date to be eligible for a refund less a 10 percent (10 percent of the total contract) processing fee.
A transfer request is defined as the movement of your current registration to a future seminar or course that is within the same seminar or course year. To transfer to a future course, you must submit a written request to the EEOC Training Institute at least 10 business days prior to the start of the originally registered course. Your written transfer request should include the originally registered course and the course you are requesting as a transfer. Approval is dependent upon space availability. Only one transfer request is honored in the seminar/course year. Upon receiving approval, you will cancel your original registration and then register for the new seminar/course. REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION REQUESTS
If you require reasonable accommodation, please note the accommodation request on the registration form and the EEOC Training Institute will contact you within 5 business days prior to the start of your seminar/course.
The dress code is business casual. Room temperatures can vary during the day; dress in layers or bring a sweater or wrap.
Courses usually begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. Participants are expected to attend the entire class and failure to complete the entire class may result in your not receiving a certificate of completion for the course. Participants attending courses at the EEOC Headquarters located at 131 M Street NE, Washington, DC 20507 should arrive by 7:30 a.m. to allow for security and building entry requirements. Participants are required to bring a government identification card. Firearms are not allowed in the building.
